STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, announced goaltender Glenn Fisher has been recalled from the Thunder to Springfield and defenseman Milan Maslonka (mas-LAWN-kah, MEE-lawn) has been recalled from the Thunder to Springfield and subsequently reassigned to the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL.
Fisher, 25, was originally assigned to the Thunder on Dec. 29 after the Falcons received goaltender Jeff-Drouin Deslauriers from Edmonton on a two-week conditioning assignment. Maslonka, 22, has skated in 27 games for the Thunder this season, posting two assists and 59 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-7, 245-pound defenseman has appeared in 96 career games with Elmira of the United Hockey League, Youngstown of the Central Hockey League and Albany of the AHL, notching 498 penalty minutes while scoring 14 points (4g-10a).
