(Erie, PA)---Kevin Howard, Brian Bocock and Brad Glenn hit home runs and the Fisher Cats held off a late Erie rally to earn a 6-4 win in the opener of a three-game series on Tuesday night at Jerry Uht Park.
The Fisher Cats struck for two runs in the top of the first inning. Ryan Goins doubled and advanced to third on Jake Marisnick's fly out. Howard homered off the video board in right-center field for a 2-0 lead.

In the top of the eighth inning, Marisnick walked and Glenn homered to give the Fisher Cats a lead of 5-2.
The SeaWolves (50-65) would close the gap back to one run in the bottom of the eighth inning. Avisail Garcia, who had singled, scored on a double by Plagman (3-for-4, 2 RBI). Brandon Douglas followed with a double to make it 5-4.
New Hampshire added an insurance run in the top of the ninth inning on consecutive doubles by Ryan Schmipf and Sean Ochinko.
Trystan Magnuson earned his first save of the season, working around a single in the bottom of the ninth inning for the Fisher Cats.
Erie starter Jared Wesson (7-7) took the loss, allowing three runs on seven hits in six innings.
The series in Erie continues on Wednesday night at 7:05pm with Toronto Blue Jays RHP Brandon Morrow expected to make a Major League Rehab start for the Fisher Cats. He'll be opposed by Erie RHP Patrick Cooper (2-6, 5.15).
