Winnipeg Goldeyes News Release

Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that the baseball club has acquired pitcher Drew Graham from the Kansas City T-Bones in exchange for a player to be named later.

Graham, 24, is 2-2 this season with a 4.85 ERA in 25 games with the T-Bones. He has 27 strikeouts in 26 innings.

Undrafted after completing his college career with the University of Louisiana-Monroe, Graham was signed as a free agent by the Detroit Tigers in 2009. He split last season with Detroit's team in the Gulf Coast League and the Single-A Lakeland Flying Tigers of the Florida State League. The Fort Scott, Kan. native had a 0.00 ERA in six and two-thirds innings in the Gulf Coast League and a 3.21 ERA in 14 innings with Lakeland.

Graham attended the T-Bones open tryout this spring and made the team out of training camp.

Winnipeg now has the Northern League maximum 23 players on its roster, including 12 pitchers and 11 position players.
