First Two Rivermen Playoff Games Available Live Online

The first two Calder Cup Playoff games ever played by the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League (AHL) will be Webcast LIVE online tonight (Friday) and Saturday night by the B2 Networks! Game 1 of the West Division Semifinals between the Peoria Rivermen and the Houston Aeros will take place this evening at 7:30 p.m. (CDT) at the Toyota Center in Houston. The two teams will then match-up once again in Game 2 of their series at 7:30 p.m. (CDT) on Saturday evening, also at the Toyota Center. Watch all of the exciting action of both games LIVE online through the B2 Networks! The streaming video Webcast of both games will begin at 7:20 p.m. (CDT). The fee to view any one Rivermen game on the B2 Networks is only $6.00 (US). The LIVE streaming video Webcasts can be accessed by clicking on the large, white B2 Networks icon in the right column of the home page of rivermen.net, the official Website of the Peoria Rivermen Hockey Club.

These Webcasts are the product of a new partnership for the 2005-06 season between the American Hockey League (AHL) and B2 Networks. Through the facilities and technology of B2 Networks, every fan with a computer, Microsoft Windows Media Player 9 or higher version software, and a high-speed Internet connection (DSL, T1, or cable modem) can watch all Rivermen games, both home and away, during the 2005-06 AHL season.

Although nothing can quite equal the excitement, fun, and intensity of attending a Rivermen game in person, the B2 Networks' Webcasts of Rivermen games bring fans closer to the live in-arena experience than any other medium can. Whether fans are unable to attend a Rivermen home game or want to keep up with the Rivermen while they are on the road, B2 Networks Webcasts provide a convenient means of viewing all of the exciting action on a computer!

Rivermen Calder Cup Playoff ticket packages are now available for discounted pre-purchase. Lower Bowl packages are available at $16.50 per seat, per game ($2 discount off gate pricing), and Upper Bowl packages are available at $11.50 per seat, per game ($2 discount off gate pricing).

Fans paying for playoff ticket packages with a major credit card will be charged when Peoria's postseason run is over only for the number of home games that were actually played. Businesses can choose to be invoiced for the number of games played following the postseason as well. For those who have already purchased 2006 Rivermen Calder Cup Playoff ticket packages, Game "A" corresponds to Peoria's first home playoff game, Game Three on Monday, April 24, and Game "B" corresponds to Peoria's second home playoff game, Game Four on Wednesday, April 26, and so on throughout the entire 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs.

Individual-game playoff tickets, which are $18.50 in the Lower Bowl and $13.50 in the Upper Bowl for the first two playoff rounds, are on sale now for the first two guaranteed Rivermen home playoff games on Monday, April 24, and Wednesday, April 26. Tickets for Game Five of the West Division Semifinals will be available for sale as series length warrants.

On the Internet, watch the live streaming video Webcast or listen to the live streaming audio broadcast of all Rivermen games through the official Website of the Peoria Rivermen Hockey Club, www.rivermen.net, courtesy of the B2 Networks. Each video Webcast on the B2 Networks carries a pay-per-view fee of $6, while the Internet audio broadcasts are offered free of charge.
