The Iowa Stars begin their quest for the 2006 Calder Cup tonight when they take on the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center. The puck drops for the West Division Semi-Final at 7:00 PM. The Stars concluded their Inaugural Regular Season by posting a 41-31-1-7 record. Their 90 points landed them fourth in the strong West Division. The Ads finished with a 108 points via 49 wins, 21 losses, 6 overtime losses and 4 shootout losses. They were first in the Division. Iowa registered a record of 8-2 in their last 10 games and finished 11-2 in their last 13 games. The Stars closed out the month of April with a record of 7-2 and including the month of March were 16-5-0-2 over the last two months of the season
