First Place Tribe Returns To Victory Field On Friday

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians begin a six-game homestand on Friday when Richmond comes to Victory Field for a 7 p.m. contest. The stretch continues through April 25 as the Tribe squares off with the Braves (April 20-23) and Norfolk Tides (April 24-25).

Fri., April 20 -- Richmond @ 7:00 p.m.

Team Picture Night -- The first 4,000 fans receive an Indians Team Picture courtesy of Sport Graphics. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Sat., April 21 -- Richmond @ 7:00 p.m.

Pirate Parrot Appearance -- Pittsburgh's official mascot, the Pirate Parrot (photo above), stops by Victory Field to entertain fans of all ages. The Parrot will be available for autographs and photos during the game.

Sun., April 22 -- Richmond @ 2:00 p.m.

Logo Baseball Giveaway -- It's another Souvenir Sunday at Victory Field as the first 4,000 fans receive an Indians Logo Baseball courtesy of Kleenit. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.

Knot Hole Run -- Members of the WISH-TV/Indians Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.

Mon., April 23 -- Richmond @ 7:00 p.m.

Monday Dollar Menu -- Hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jack and potato chips will be available for just $1 each.

Tues., April 24 -- Norfolk @ 7:00 p.m.

The Tribe opens a two-game series with the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.

Wed., April 25 -- Norfolk @ 11:00 a.m.

Baseball in Education Day-- Students can learn at the ballpark by attending the first of three Baseball in Education Days at Victory Field. The special 11 a.m. start is presented by IUPUI and Aquafina. Join the youth development coordinator from the National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS) during a pre-game program from 10-10:30 a.m. BIE participants will learn about the benefits of daily exercise and making wise nutrition choices.
