
Braves To Wear Virginia Tech Hats

Richmond, VA - The Richmond Braves will wear Virginia Tech hats for the last two games of the current homestand. Following Thursday's game Braves players will autograph the hats which will be auctioned off at www.rbraves.com. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund to honor the victims of Monday's shootings at Virginia Tech.
The Braves host Louisville tonight at 7 PM and tomorrow at 12 PM at The Diamond. The auction will begin at 4 PM (EDT) Thursday. Checks will be required for payment. Please make the checks out directly to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund. The link for the auction will be on the home page at www.rbraves.com.
Virginia Tech has established the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund to aid in the healing process and generate financial support. The fund will be used to cover expenses including but not limited to: grief counseling, memorials, communication expenses, comfort expenses, and incidental needs.
