
Fireworks Shows, Swing for the Cure Headline Seven-Game Homestand

DURHAM, NC - The Durham Bulls return to the DBAP for a seven-game homestand on Monday, June 20 as they battle the Charlotte Knights for four games before taking on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs for a three-game set. Two fireworks shows, Swing for the Cure Night and a Bike to the Ballpark event highlight the promotional schedule.
The homestand kicks off on Monday, June 20 at 7:05 p.m. against Charlotte, with that night's game presented by MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM. The second game of the series, presented by the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of Alzheimer's Association, will take place at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21. Tickets can be purchased to Tuesday's game online using the promo code "alzENC" and $5 from every ticket purchased will benefit the Triangle Walk to End Alzheimer's.
The in-state rivals continue their series on Wednesday, June 22 with a 1:05 p.m. first pitch, before closing the four-game set on Thursday, June 23 at 7:05 p.m. Thursday's game, presented by NC By Train, features $1 Concessions, as Bright Leaf hot dogs, soda and popcorn are just a buck all night long.
On Friday, June 24 the Bulls open up a three-game series with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs at 7:05 p.m., presented by Allscripts. Following that night's contest will be a Friday Night Fireworks show sponsored by bioMerieux.
Durham and the Philadelphia Phillies' Triple-A team will battle again on Saturday, June 25 at 6:35 p.m. The team will wear special pink hats for that evening's Swing for the Cure event, sponsored by Sport Durst Automotive, in which the team will auction off special items and experiences with all proceeds benefitting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Following that night's game will be a fireworks show presented by JT's Landscaping, with the season's first Camp Out Night, presented by Great Outdoor Provision Company, rounding out the evening.
The homestand comes to a close against the IronPigs on Sunday, June 26 at 5:05 p.m., when fans can Bike to the Ballpark, as anyone who rides their bike to the DBAP will receive 15 percent off normal ticket pricing courtesy of GoTriangle. Following the game Kids Run the Bases presented by Nature's Twist.
