
Fireworks, Ice Cream Highlight Aces Memorial Weekend

RENO, Nev. - The Reno Aces play host to the Sacramento River Cats for four games this Memorial Day weekend, highlighted by Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday presented by KOLO 8, Tahoe Creamery ice cream tasting and on-field photo day.
Friday night's 7:05 p.m. game brings the return of Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday presented by KOLO 8, with a fireworks display immediately following the game. In addition, Family 4-Packs presented by Sunny 106.9 are featured Friday, with four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas available for just $44. Family 4-Packs are only available at the Aces Ballpark box office of by calling 334-7000.
Saturday night's 7:05 contest will be the second of three-consecutive Kids Run the Bases games, presented by Dr. David Welmerink. All children 12 and under and invited to run the bases after every Friday, Saturday and Sunday game throughout the 2010 season.
Sunday afternoon's 1:05 tilt is Tahoe Creamery Ice Cream Day presented by Fox 11. Tahoe Creamery and the Reno Aces are teaming up to give free scoops of Batter's Up and Blueberry ice cream to the first 2,000 fans this Sunday before the game. Join Aces players Bryan Augenstein and Wes Roemer at 11:45 a.m. on the front plaza as they hand out free scoops of Tahoe Creamery ice cream.
Monday afternoon's special Memorial Day contest will start at 1:05, and feature a new one-of-a-kind fan experience. On-Field Photo Day presented by KTVN will give fans the opportunity to take pictures on the field with their favorite players before the game. Fans are asked to bring their own cameras and arrive at the ballpark no later than 11 a.m. in order to take part in this unique on-field event.
Single-game tickets for all games start at just $7, while ticket plans for the 2010 season start at just $154. The brand-new Freight House District, located just outside Aces Ballpark, is open seven days a week, on both game days and non-game days.
