Rain Cancels a Game
May 26, 2010 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Oklahoma City Comets News Release
The first game of the RedHawks' scheduled doubleheader on Wednesday was suspended by rain in Tacoma after four full innings with the score 1-1.
That seven-inning game will be completed on Thursday starting at 8:30 pm CDT, followed by a seven-inning game to conclude the series. The other scheduled game in this series will not be played, as this is the only series of the regular season between these teams.
The OKC starting rotation now goes:
Thursday's full game: RH Doug Mathis
At New Orleans:
Friday: RH Omar Beltre
Saturday: LH Michael Kirkman
Sunday: LH Michael Ballard
Monday: RH Tommy Hunter
The suspension on Wednesday was the second time in as many days rain had postponed or halted a game, as Tuesday's contest was postponed before it began. The RedHawks have seen rain delays in five of the last six days.
