Bees To Hold Military Appreciation Night

SALT LAKE CITY (May 26, 2010) - The Salt Lake Bees will hold Military Appreciation Night at Spring Mobile Ballpark on Friday, May 28 as the Bees take on the Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m. In honor of men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, the team will wear camouflage jerseys. The Bees will also wear camouflage jerseys on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31.

The Bees are offering a 2-for-1 ticket package for Friday's game, available to all military personnel who provide military identification at the Spring Mobile Ballpark box office.

The pregame ceremony will include the performance of the national anthem by Sgt. Drew Howells of the Utah Army National Guard while the Hill Air Force Base Honor Guard presents the colors. Col. Michael Vlk of the Air Force will also conduct a postgame enlistment ceremony.

Following the enlistment ceremony, fans are invited to stay for a postgame fireworks show.

The Salt Lake Bees continue an eight-game road trip tonight against the Iowa Cubs at 5:35 p.m. (MT). Listen to the game live on AM 1320 KFAN.
