Birmingham Barons News Release

A special Fourth of July Fireworks Friday, Reggy, NASCAR Night, On-field Wedding Vow Renewals, and Iowa Flood Relief highlight the Stars' upcoming four-game homestand with the Birmingham Barons.

The festivities kick off Friday night with a special Fourth of July Fireworks show. Every Friday night is Fireworks Friday at Joe Davis Stadium, but the Stars will, of course, pull out all stops this Friday and make it the biggest fireworks show of the year. If that's not enough for you, the Stars will also welcome Reggy, "The Purple Party Dude." Reggy will entertain fans of all ages throughout the game with his hilarious antics.

The fun continues Saturday night with NASCAR Night. Fans wearing the apparel of their favorite NASCAR driver will receive half-priced admission to the game. Also, in coordination with Minor League Baseball, the Stars will donate $0.50 for each ticket sold to aid in the relief effort for the four Minor League cities affected in by the recent flooding in Iowa.

In addition to the weekly Sunday promotions of Pre-Game Game of Catch, Post-Game Kids Run the Bases, and Super Soaker Sunday, fans will be allowed to renew their wedding vows on field after the game. Also, for the first time at ‘The Joe' the Post-Game Kids Run the Bases will be open to people of all ages.

Monday, the team will wrap up the homestand with a Lucky Sevens promotion. Dice will be available at the ticket office, and any fan who rolls a seven will receive a free General Admission ticket to the game. If you don't roll a seven, don't worry bring your Church Bulletin or Military ID just in case and receive a GA ticket for only one dollar.

All games will begin at 7:05pm, except for Sunday which is scheduled for 5:05pm. For tickets or more information, please visit www.huntsvillestars.com.
