JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - With showers and thunderstorms in the forcast throughout the remainder of Monday evening, the series-opening game between the Jacksonville Suns and Carolina Mudcats has been postponed.
The Mudcats and Suns will make up the game as part of a doubleheader with two seven inning games on Wednesday, July 2 beginning at 6:05 p.m. ET. Tickets for Wednesday's originally scheduled game are good for both games of the doubleheader.
Tickets for Monday's game can be exchanged for a similar seat for any remaining regular season game by visiting the Suns box office at 301 A. Philip Randolph Blvd.
Carolina and Jacksonville will meet for the first time in the series Tuesday at 12:05 p.m. ET as Mudcats RH Rick VandenHurk will face Suns RH Jesus Castillo. Summer campers are invited to this special midday game. Special senior citizen discounts are available as well.
