
Firebirds Remain in First-Place in the West, Recognized for Third-Straight Week in Kia CHL Top 10

Flint, Mich. - The Flint Firebirds are ranked in the Kia CHL Top 10 for Week 18, coming in as an honorable mention. It is the third straight week the Firebirds have been recognized in the rankings, and the fourth time this season. The full list of rankings is available at chl.ca.
Flint is coming off a week where they claimed three out of four games. The Firebirds now have points in 17 of their last 19 games and currently sit 31-15-1-3 on the season. They also c hold the top spots in both the Western Conference and the Western Division by four points.
The Kia CHL Top 10 is a weekly ranking consisting of teams across the full 60-team Canadian Hockey League.
Next Up: The Firebirds embark on a 3-in-3 road trip next weekend starting next Friday night in Erie. They will play the Otters Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. (ET) before heading to Guelph to take on the Storm Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
On Saturday, March 12, the Birds will return to home ice to host the Guelph Storm for a 7:00 p.m. (ET) battle. It will be Teacher Appreciation Night sponsored by PFCU.
