
FC Dallas Winger Szabolcs Schön Called into National Team Camp

FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas winger has been called up by Hungary's National Team head coach Marco Rossi for the upcoming FIFA international window that runs from March 21-30. Hungary will play Serbia on March 24 and Northern Ireland on March 29.
Schön, 21, has recorded six assists in 24 MLS matches for FC Dallas since signing with the club in April 2021.

The Hungarian winger started his soccer career in the Budapest Honvéd academy in 2009. In 2017, Schön joined AFC Ajax's academy where he participated in the UEFA Youth League and U-18 Cup Netherlands competitions. Prior to FC Dallas, Schön spent a couple seasons with Hungarian first-division MTK Budapest where he scored 14 goals and recorded 10 assists in 55 appearances across all competitions.
Schön has eight appearances overall for the Magyars, after making his senior team debut in an international friendly against Ireland on June 8, 2021. Schön started in the World Cup qualifying match against Andorra on Sept. 8 and recorded his first assist in the 18th minute of the 2-1 win.
