Houston Dynamo FC Forward Darwin Quintero Named to MLSSoccer.Com Team of the Week

HOUSTON - Houston Dynamo FC forward Darwin Quintero was named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week earlier today.

Quintero scored both goals in Houston's 2-1 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps FC last Saturday at PNC Stadium. He scored the equalizer in the 33rd minute and secured three points for the Dynamo in the second half with a strike from outside the box worthy of a Goal of the Week nomination.

The forward is the first Dynamo player to earn this honor in 2022 and this is the fourth time he has represented Houston on the list. Quintero was named to the MLSSoccer.com Team of the Week twice in 2020 and once in 2021.
