
FC Dallas Announces Kick Childhood Cancer Initiatives for September

Frisco, TX - In honor of September's Childhood Cancer Awareness month, FC Dallas announced initiatives as part of Major League Soccer, MLS WORKS and Continental Tire's Kick Childhood Cancer campaign to raise awareness and funds to combat childhood cancer. Entering its 10th year, Major League Soccer's Kick Childhood Cancer efforts support research to help find a cure for all forms of childhood cancer.
Marvel Superhero Night: Kicking Childhood Cancer presented by Children's Health | FC Dallas vs Columbus Crew on 9.23.23
The highlight of the month includes FC Dallas' Marvel Superhero Night: Kicking Childhood Cancer presented by Children's Health on Saturday, September 23 at Toyota Stadium. The match will feature jersey patches, customized jersey numbers designed by individuals impacted by childhood cancer, gold nets, gold corner flags and a customized match ball to raise awareness for the Kick Childhood Cancer campaign. Players will escort patients and their siblings from the Children's Health Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders during the pregame processional.
Jerseys worn by FC Dallas players during the match will be auctioned through the DASH Auction App beginning at 7:00PM CT on September 23 through 5PM CT on September 29. Proceeds from this auction will benefit the Battle Brynn Foundation whose mission is to provide experiences that allow space for children to enjoy their lives during the storm that is childhood cancer.
FC Dallas & North Texas Hospital Visits
FC Dallas and North Texas SC players will visit Children's Health campuses in Dallas and Plano the week of September 4.
FC Dallas staff members made blankets for FC Dallas and North Texas SC players to distribute during the visits.
