FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati continue their Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup run at Saint Louis FC on Wednesday, June 19. The match will kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET at World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton, Mo., and will be streamed nationally on ESPN+.
FC Cincinnati return home for a match against the La Galaxy on Saturday, June 22. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. The match will be televised locally on WSTR Star64, streamed regionally on FloFC, out of market on ESPN+ and carried on the radio on WDJO, while an audio stream will be available on the TuneIn app and fccincinnati.com. More than 30,000 tickets for the game have been sold already, and a limited number are on sale at fccincinnati.com/tickets or by calling 513-977-5425 (KICK). Pick-Six mini plans, and individual-game tickets and group options are on sale for all remaining games.
FC Cincinnati (3-11-2, 11 pts. in MLS) enter the week defeating Louisville City 2-1 in added extra time in the fourth round of the U.S Open Cup last Wednesday night. Fanendo Adi opened the scoring for the Orange and Blue in the first half. Kekuta Manneh's goal in the 104th minute advanced FCC to the Round of 16.
LA Galaxy (9-6-1, 28 pts.) defeated NPSL side Orange County FC, 3-0, on Wednesday, June 12, to also advance to the Round of 16 in the USOC. In the club's last MLS match, Galaxy suffered a 2-1 loss at home to the New England Revolution on June 2.

With Wednesday's win against Louisville City in the U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round, FC Cincinnati improved to 8-2-2 all-time in USOC play ... at home, FCC is 6-1-2 overall, and 2-1-0 on the road...So far this year, FC is 1-0-0 after last Wednesday's extra-time win over Louisville ... in 2016, the club's first-ever USOC draw, FCC went 1-1-0 with a second-round win over the then-NPSL Indy Eleven before a third-round loss to the Tampa Bay Rowdies ... in 2017, Cincy used a semifinal run to gain national acclaim with a 4-1-1 record, earning wins over AFC Cleveland in the second round, Louisville City FC in the third round, and the Columbus Crew in the fourth round ... the club then drew - and advanced on penalties - against the Chicago Fire in the Round of 16 before topped Miami FC in the quarterfinals ... FCC then lost in extra time to the New York Red Bulls in the semifinals... In 2018, went 2-0-1 with an extra time win over NPSL's Detroit City FC in the second round and a road win at Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in the third round, before drawing - and falling in penalties - to Minnesota United FC.

On June 13, FCC was drawn to play at Saint Louis FC in the Round of 16 of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup ... FC Cincinnati's all-time record against Saint Louis FC is 4-0-1; the two clubs have never met in the U.S. Open Cup ... FCC and Saint Louis last faced each other on Sept. 24, 2017, a 2-2 draw at Toyota Stadium

The winner of Wednesday's game will advance to the U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals where they will travel to meet the winner of the Columbus Crew-Atlanta United FC Round of 16 game ... FC Cincinnati's all-time record against Louisville City FC sits at 5-4-2 across all competitions, including USL regular-season and U.S. Open Cup competitions
Penchant for Extra Time
FC Cincinnati has a habit of going to extra time in the U.S. Open Cup ... five of the team's last six USOC games have gone to extra time ... FCC is 2-1-2 in those games ... last Wednesday, FCC won in extra time against Louisville, 2-1, after extra time ... the other four matches were against the Chicago Fire on June 28, 2017 in the Round of 16, New York Red Bulls on August 15, 2017 in the semifinals, Detroit City FC on May 16, 2018 in the second round, 2018 and Minnesota United on June 6, 2018 in the fourth round
Bench Depleted for USOC
FCC managed to only dress 16 players for its USOC fourth-round game last Wednesday between injuries, international call-ups and cap-tie issues... Tommy McCabe was unable to dress as he was cap-tied to North Carolina FC during his earlier loan stint with the club ... goalkeeper Jimmy Hague was the only other healthy player who did not dress... Allan Cruz (Costa Rica), Darren Mattocks (Jamaica), Alvas Powell (Jamaica) and Kendall Waston (Costa Rica) are all away on international duty for the Gold Cup...Further, Roland Lamah (hamstring) and Greg Garza (calf) remain out with injuries, while Leo Bertone was on a pre-arranged vacation as he did not have any competitive time off between his winter signing from Switzerland and starting play in MLS in January
Cruz, Waston Star in Costa Rica's Opening Win
In Costa Rica's first-ever Concacaf Gold Cup match on home soil, Allan Cruz scored a world-class goal and provided an assist in the Ticos' 4-0 blowout of Nicaragua on Sunday night in San Jose, Costa Rica ... with the win, Costa Rica top Group B one match into the continent's biggest soccer tournament ... Cruz, who started as a central midfielder, tapped the ball to Celso Borges in the 19th minute to give the Ticos a two-goal lead ... he then scored in the 75th minute when he curled a first-time shot in off the cross bar ... Kendall Waston also started for Costa Rica and earned a clean sheet ... he also drew a yellow card in the 15th minute ... CRC will play in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday, June 20 against Bermuda, and then close group play on Monday, June 24 against Haiti in Harrison, N.J.
Rashawn Dally makes debut
In the 115th minute of the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against Louisville City FC, Rashawn Dally replaced Emmanuel Ledesma, marking his debut with the Orange and Blue...Dally was selected by FCC with the 49th pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft...while on loan with Memphis 901 FC, the forward scored one goal in 11 appearances in the USL Championship
