CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati return to Nippert Stadium on Saturday to close out their regular-season series with New York City FC. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised locally on WSTR Star64, streamed regionally on FloFC, out of market on ESPN+ and carried on the radio on WDJO, while an audio stream will be available on the TuneIn app and fccincinnati.com.
FC Cincinnati (5-17-3, 18 pts.) enter the week after playing Columbus Crew SC to a 2-2 draw in the first MLS edition of the #HellisReal Derby at MAPFRE Stadium on Saturday evening. Darren Mattocks and Emmanuel Ledesma tallied for the Orange and Blue as FCC recorded at least a point on the road for the second time in their last three away matches.
New York City FC (10-5-8, 38 pts.) open MLS Week 24 after falling to Atlanta United FC, 2-1, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday afternoon. NYCFC's Héber scored the lone goal for the visitors as they dropped to fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings
Saturday's matchup will be the second-ever meeting between the two sides. FC Cincinnati fell to NYCFC, 5-2, at Yankee Stadium on June 6.
Also this week, FC Cincinnati will continue their Salute to Service campaign with a series of recognitions and events leading up to the club's "Salute to Service" game on Saturday.
