DUBUQUE, Iowa - Tons of family fun is on the way this weekend! Kids from all around the Tri-State area will be the stars on Friday night for Kids Run the Rink Night, sponsored by ManorCare and media partner Xtreme 107, and mascots from all around the Tri-State area will play an action-packed hockey game during Mascot Mania, sponsored by Victory Ford, on Saturday night at Our House.
The lucky winners of the Kids Run the Rink contest will star as the staff at Friday night's game when the Green Bay Gamblers come to town for a 7:35 p.m. start. The game will feature a junior announcer for the starting lineups, and a special broadcast assistant that will help the Voice of the Saints, Jordan Kuhns, break down the game action during an intermission.
On Saturday, Mascot Mania comes to Dubuque as the Des Moines Buccaneers come to town for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. Bernie the St. Bernard and Victory Ford's Max the Mustang have invited their friends from all over the Tri-State area to take part in a hockey game during the first intermission.
