
Falcons Team With Bertelli's To Giveaway Hockey Equipment Scholarship

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced they have once again teamed up with Bertelli's Skate Shop in West Springfield and CCM/Rbk Hockey to provide one lucky youngster with a Hockey Equipment Scholarship.
The Bertelli's Hockey Equipment Scholarship promotion will work the following way: Youth Hockey players in the age bracket of 7-14 will be eligible to sign-up to win a $10.00 skate sharpening certificate each month during the 2008-09 season with all winners automatically entered to win the $1200 Equipment Scholarship Grand Prize.
"Bertelli's Skate Shop has been a great partner of the Falcons and this program is one of a kind," said Falcons Manager of Community Relations, Jason Gonet. "Anything we can do to help promote kids playing youth hockey, we will do and we are excited this program is returning."
GSL participants can sign-up at Bertelli's Skate Shop in West Springfield, Amelia Park Ice Arena in Westfield, Fitzpatrick Arena in Holyoke, Cyr Arena and Smead Arena in Springfield, and also at the Fan Relations table at Falcons home games.
