Lightning Reassign Forward Justin Keller to Augusta

NORFOLK - The Tampa Bay Lightning, NHL parent club of the Norfolk Admirals, have reassigned forward Justin Keller to the ECHL's Augusta Lynx, Admirals General Manager Mike Butters announced today.
Keller, 22, is a 6'0", 181-pound forward from Nelson, British Columbia. In two games for Norfolk this season, the third-year pro registered one assist.
Last season, Keller tied for third in goals (15) and was fourth in points (37) with Norfolk. He represented the Admirals at the AHL All-Star Classic in Binghamton, New York.
Keller was an eighth-round draft pick of the Lightning in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He made his pro debut in 2006-07 with the AHL's Springfield Falcons, scoring 13 goals and adding 11 assists in 60 games. His 13 goals, four power play goals and 24 points led all Springfield rookies. In 132 career American Hockey League games, Keller has scored 28 goals and added 34 assists for 62 points with 71 penalty minutes.
Prior to turning pro, Keller played three seasons with the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League. In 216 games with Kelowna, Keller scored 107 goals and 80 assists. He led the WHL with 51 goals in 2005-06 and scored the Memorial Cup winning goal with the Rockets in 2004.
The Admirals next square off against the Rockford IceHogs and Grand Rapids Griffins this weekend. The Admirals and IceHogs will face off for the first time in franchise history Friday at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday at 8:05 p.m. The Admirals and Griffins will meet Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
