Atlanta Sends Stoesz To Gwinnett

The Atlanta Thrashers have assigned left wing Myles Stoesz (STAYZ) from the Chicago Wolves to the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators.

The 21-year-old forward has not appeared in any games with Chicago this season. Last year, STOESZ led the ECHL with 291 penalty minutes in 64 regular-season outings with the Gladiators, during his professional debut.

Atlanta's seventh choice, 207th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, he also tallied four goals and six points with Gwinnett, and was held scoreless in one Kelly Cup playoff outing.

The Wolves (3-1-1-0) return to action on Sat., Oct. 25, when they travel to Wisconsin to face the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center at 7:30 p.m. The squad returns home to battle the Rockford IceHogs on Sun., Oct. 26 at the Allstate Arena at 3 p.m. For tickets or more information call 1-800-THE-WOLVES or log on to chicagowolves.com.
