
Falcons Return Home to Host Sharks Tonight

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons, AHL affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, return home to the MassMutual Center to host the Worcester Sharks in the second of three preseason contests tonight at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $12 and are available by visiting the MassMutual Center Box Office or by logging onto Ticketmaster.com.
The Falcons dropped their preseason opener on Wednesday night to the Providence Bruins in Marlborough, Mass., 4-1., while the Sharks earned a victory in their exhibition debut on Thursday evening, defeating the Connecticut Whale, 2-1, in Worcester, Mass.
Springfield and Worcester will meet eight times during the regular season, but will not start the 2012-2013 series until January.
The Falcons will close out the preseason on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. against the Bruins at the MassMutual Center.
Single-game tickets to see the Falcons in the 2012-2013 regular season are on sale now and can be purchased at the MassMutual Center 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or by logging onto Ticketmaster.com.
