HERSHEY, P.A. - The Binghamton Senators scored a pair of goals with the man advantage on their way to defeating the Hershey Bears 5-3 at the Giant Center Friday night.
Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Mika Zibanejad each notched power play tallies. Jakub Culek, Mike Hoffman and Andre Petersson would round out the scoring for the B-Sens.
Hoffman ended the night with four points, as he added a trio of assists to the scorecard. Petersson and Zibanejad each received credit for an assist, capping their night with two points.
Jon DiSalvatore, Tomas Kundratek and Mattias Sjogren each scored goals for the Bears.
Marc Cheverie and Scott Greenham shared goaltending duties combining for 26 saves on 29 shots. .
The B-Sens wrap up the pre-season slate Saturday against the Albany Devils in a 7:05 p.m. face-off. $10 general admission tickets ($9 for Binghamton Senators season ticket holders) can be purchased by phone at 607-722-SENS (7367), in person at the Binghamton Senators' executive office or the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office or online at www.ticketmaster.com .
Saturday's pre-season finale will also feature a post-game skate. Admission to the skate is free with the purchase of a ticket to that evening's game. Those who wish to participate must bring their own skates.
