
Falcons fans raise $30,000 at jersey auction

YOUR 6-1 First Place Fresno Falcons won both games last weekend beating Phoenix on Friday and Long Beach on Saturday to achieve the best start in team history after seven games. Coach Matt Thomas and the boys travel north to Victoria today for a three game road trip against the Salmon Kings.
Falcons fans raised more than $ 32,000 gross revenue at the post game jersey auction Saturday night benefiting the Central California Veterans Home Support Foundation. This total ranks as one of the top grossing jersey auctions in Fresno Falcons history! We will be making the official donation to the CCVHF in two weeks. Thanks to all of our loyal and generous fans for your support. A special thanks goes out to Eye Q Vision Care, Big Country 102.7, the Fresno Bee, and Comcast Cable for your support of the Rally Around Our Veterans game last Saturday.
On deck for the Falcons after taking care of business in Victoria is the team's return for a six game home stand at the Save Mart Center. The upcoming games and promotions are as follows:
1. Wednesday, November 15th vs Utah 7pm
Ladies Night with the Falcons. The first 750 ladies at the game will receive free Falcons Boxer Shorts courtesy of Gottschalks, Alice 96.7 and KMPH Fox 26. There will be prize giveaways throughout the game including a Gottschalks shopping spree, Dinner with a Falcon, Free Lasik from Eye Q Vision Care, a Painting of Captain Matt O'Dette by Fresno Artist Dora Mora of Art by Dora, and one lucky lady will win the chance to do the weather with Kopi on the Fox 26 Great Day morning show. Tickets start at $ 10.00 for the ladies and there are 2 for 1 coupons available at Gottschalks.
2. Saturday, November 18th vs Utah 7:30pm
The first 2000 fans receive a free Falcons Schedule Cup courtesy of the CBS 47 on Your Side and 93.7 KISS Country. The Falcons also welcome back the Hooters Girls and the November 18th game also features the 93.7 Kiss Country 15th Birthday Celebration, Bob Silva Ford F 150 Face Off and Truck giveaway. The Falcons are also asking fans to donate coats at this game to the Kiss Country Coats for Kids Campaign. Saturday, November 18th is also Central Valley Scout Night. ALL SCOUT ALUMNI ARE ENCOURAGED TO CALL THE OFFICE AND PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THE NOVEMBER 18TH GAME TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE SCOUTS. 3. Sunday, November 19th vs Idaho Steelheads 5pm
KIDS DAY WITH THE FALCONS! ALL KIDS 14 AND YOUNGER MAY PURCHASE TICKETS FOR HALF PRICE! The first 500 kids 14 and younger will receive a free Falcons Schedule Folder courtesy of Soft Rock 98.9 and Comcast Cable. Sunday, November 19th is also the Central Valley Walk to D'Feet ALS Walkers Appreciation Night. Anyone who walked in the October 14th ALS Walk at Chukchansi Park may purchase Silver Seats for only $ 7.00. Steve and Patty Spring, the Walk Chair Couple for Northern California and the Central Valley will drop the Ceremonial First Puck along with Kristen Kelley of Soft Rock 98.9.
4. Wednesday, November 22nd vs Las Vegas 7:00pm
