A 10-inning, walk-off win for the Boise Hawks (Short Season A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies) extended their win streak to four games in a 7-6 victory over the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (Short Season A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants).

Vladimir Dilone batted the winning run in on a sacrifice fly to center field that scored Shael Mendoza, who came in as a pinch runner. Dilone was 0 for 3 with a walk before that at bat.

Boise had lead 5-1 before the top of the ninth inning. Salem Keizer lead off with a base hit from Simon Whiteman, then two consecutive outs followed. Harrison Freed was hit by a pitch, Franklin Labour hit an RBI-single to make it 5-2 Hawks, then a three-run big fly from to left-center tied up the game at five. Tyler Flores pushed the Volcanoes ahead with a solo home run to right making it 6-5 Salem-Keizer.

The Hawks tied the game up 6-6 with an RBI-double from Aaron Schunk that scored Bladimir Restituyo. With the third out the game was sent to extra innings for the fourth time this season, third against Salem-Keizer.

Hawks relief pitcher Joel Condreay slung two strikeouts and induced a pop out to end the top of the 10th inning. In the bottom half, with two runners on, Dilone lifted a ball towards center which brought Mendoza home to give the Hawks their first walk-off victory of the season.

Boise will take on Salem-Keizer Saturday night with a 7:15 first pitch.
