Sioux City Explorers News Release

Sioux Falls, SD.....The Sioux City Explorers defeated Sioux Falls 8-3 in the second game to gain a split of the Friday night doubleheader. Sioux Falls won the opener 7-6.

In the I-29 rivalry, the Explorers lead the season series over Sioux Falls 8-6 with five game remaining between the two teams this season. The Explorers and Sioux Falls will meet again Saturday at Sioux Falls Stadium at 7:05.
