
Everett Earns Win in Game One with Overtime Goal

The Kelowna Rockets dropped game one of its best of seven Western Hockey League playoff series with the Everett SIlvertips 5-4 in overtime. Daniel Iwanski scored 5:18 into the first overtime period to give the Silvertips a 1-0 series advantage. Everett led 1-0 after the first period and the game was tied at 2-2 after the second. Antoine Corbin and Geordie Wudrick scored in the second period for Kelowna while Brett Bulmer and Colin Bowman scored in the third period for the Rockets.
Adam Brown faced 51 shots in the Kelowna net
Game two is tomorrow night in Everett. Games three and four of the series are Tuesday and Wednesday in Kelowna.
