Everett, WA - The Portland Winter Hawks road woes continued on Friday night as the Everett Silvertips got 22 saves from Shayne Barrie and they knock off the Hawks 3-0 in front of 5,543 at the Comcast Arena in Everett.

Portland dropped to 7-20-0-0 (14 points) on the season while Everett improved to 14-10-3-0 (30 points). Portland has now lost six in a row, all on the road.

Everett got a goal in each period, all even-strength, by Jesse Burt in the opening period, by Byron Froese in the middle period, and Graham Potuer in the third.

Kurtis Mucha went the distance in net for Portland, stopping 24 of 27 shots in the loss.

On special teams, Portland went 0 for 3 on the power play while Everett went 0 for 2.

Next up, the Hawks will look to break their losing streak on home ice when they take on the Seattle Thunderbirds at 12:00 PM at the Rose Garden on Saturday afternoon
