ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades finished the past week by going 1-2-0. The Everblades head into this week's action with a record of 41-22-6 (88 pts, 2nd, South Div.).

THIS WEEK (All Times Eastern)

Tuesday, April 3 at Pensacola Ice Pilots 8:05 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades wrap up their four-game road trip against the Ice Pilots on Tuesday night. The game is the 11th and final meeting between the teams this season. The Everblades hold a 6-2-1 record vs. Pensacola this season. The Everblades won the most recent meeting 5-3 on April 1. In Pensacola this season the Everblades are 3-0-1. The Ice Pilots enter this week with a record of 19-45-6, (44 pts., 8th, South Div.). The Everblades hold an all-time record of 44-13-10 vs. Pensacola and are 20-7-4 all-time on the road vs. the Ice Pilots.

Friday & Saturday, April 6 & 7 vs. Augusta Lynx Both Games 7:30 p.m.

GAME NOTES: The Everblades return home to wrap up the regular season with a pair of games vs. Augusta. The games are the eighth and ninth between the clubs. The 'Blades hold a record of 6-1-0 vs. Augusta this season and had won the first six meetings between the teams until the Lynx picked up a 2-1 victory in the last meeting on March 2 at Augusta. The Lynx enter this week's action with a record of 39-27-3 (81 pts., 5th, South Div.). The Everblades hold an all-time record of 45-13-6 vs. Augusta and are 23-5-3 all-time at home vs. the Lynx.

Friday, March 30 at Texas 3-2 L

The Everblades dropped the opening game of their four-game road trip on Friday night. Despite scoring the game's first goal and grabbing a 2-1 lead on goals by Dustin Johner and Adam Taylor, the Wildcatters battled back to tie the game late in the second period and then took the lead six minute into the third period. In goal, Craig Kowalski played strong, but suffered the tough-luck loss allowing the three goals on 32 shots. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-for-2; PK: 6-for-8.

Saturday, March 31 at Texas 4-1 L

The Everblades suffered their second straight loss to Texas in a 4-1 contest on Saturday night. The Wildcatters jumped on the 'Blades early, scoring twice in the first five minutes of the game to help set the tone. The game remained a 2-0 Texas lead into the third period when Florida got on the scoreboard to cut the lead in half. Ernie Hartlieb picked up his eighth goal of the season midway through the frame to bring the Everblades within one, but Texas would salt the game away with a pair of goals in the final minute of regulation. In net, Craig Kowalski took the loss allowing three of the four goals on 37 shots. Florida special teams: PP: 0-for-4, PK: 5-for-5.

Sunday, April 1 at Pensacola 5-3 W `

The Everblades shook off their two-game skid with a 5-3 win in Pensacola on Sunday night. The 'Blades came out flying scoring a pair of goals in the first seven minutes of the game by Brad Parsons and Brad Zancanaro and out-shot the Ice Pilots 18-5 in the first period to help set the tone. Pensacola rebounded and kept pace with the Everblades for the remainder, out-scoring Florida 2-1 in the second period as the Everblades collected a goal by Vince Bellissimo to carry a 3-2 lead into the third period. Early in the final period Jon Lehun gave the Everblades a 4-2 lead, but Pensacola again trimmed the lead to one midway through the period, however Zancanaro's second goal of the night came into the empty Ice Pilot net with 11 seconds remaining. In goal, Jamie Holden picked up the win by stopping 25 of 28 shots. Florida special teams: PP: 1-for-3, PK: 4-for-6.

Player of the Week Nominee: This week's Everblades nominee for ECHL player of the week is Brad Zancanaro who had four points (2g, 2a) in three games last week.

Record Setter!: Everblades forward Reggie Berg became the team's all-time leading scorer with an assist on Brad Zancanaro's second goal on Sunday night at Pensacola. The assist gave Berg 311 career points as an Everblade, which eclipsed the mark set by Tom Buckley who collected 310 points from 1999-2004. Berg's career with the Everblades also began in 1999-2000 and along the way, the 30-year-old has tallied 141 goals and 170 assists in 277 career games. Overall in his seven-year career Berg has notched 336 points (151g, 185a) in 341 professional games.
