Johnstown traveled to Cincinnati on Tuesday for a school day game, winning 3-1, before returning home to defeat Toledo 6-1 on Friday evening, Dayton 2-0 on Saturday evening, and Cincinnati 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Great Performances:

Marek Kvapil scored two goals including the game-winner and added one assist in his Chiefs debut at Cincinnati on Tuesday.

Morgan Cey earned his first shutout of the season, stopping 25 shots in a 2-0 win against Dayton on Saturday.

Gus Katsuras had his first professional multiple-goal game when he scored two goals in a 6-1 win against Toledo on Saturday.

Ryan Munce won three consecutive starts, making 24-of-26 saves at Cincinnati on Tuesday, 25 saves on 26 shots against Toledo on Friday, and 23 saves on 24 shots against Cincinnati on Sunday.

March 27 @ Cincinnnati (3-1 W)

Marek Kvapil had two goals, including the game-winner, and added an assist in his Chiefs debut, and Zbynek Hrdel added a power-play goal as Johnstown beat Cincinnati 3-1 at U.S. Bank Arena. Ryan Munce made 25 saves on 26 shots to earn the win, and the Chiefs were 1-for-4 on the power play.

March 30 vs. Toledo (6-1 W)

Gus Katsuras potted two goals and Marek Kvapil had his second consecutive three-point game as the Chiefs downed Toledo 6-1 at the War Memorial. Zbynek Hrdel, John Adams, Ian MacLean, and Radek Smolenak each added a goal for Johnstown. The Chiefs were 3-for-4 on the power play, and Ryan Munce made 24 saves on 25 shots to get the victory.

March 31 vs. Dayton (2-0 W)

John Adams scored the game-winner on the power play, and Rob Lehtinen added an insurance goal as the Chiefs shut out Dayton on Saturday night. Morgan Cey made 35 saves to earn the win, and the Chiefs went 1-for-6 on the power play.

April 1 vs. Cincinnati (2-1 OTW)

Gus Katsuras scored the second-fastest overtime winner in ECHL history, beating Cincinnati's Scott Tomes just six seconds into the extra session, and Zbynek Hrdel potted his third goal of the week as the Chiefs won their fourth straight game on Sunday afternoon. Ryan Munce made 23 saves to earn the win, and the Chiefs went 1-for-7 on the man-advantage.

Chiefs Notes: Johnstown scored on the power play in all four games this week... the three power-play goals in Friday night's win against Toledo were the most since the Chiefs scored six on the man-advantage at Wheeling on December 30... Marek Kvapil has seven points (2g, 5a) since being assigned to Johnstown from Springfield... Gus Katsuras, Grant Jacobsen, and Zbynek Hrdel each scored five goals in the month of March to lead the Chiefs... Ryan Munce had a 2.11 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage last month.
