LAST WEEK: Fresno went 0-3-0 last week, and is 34-27-8 overall on the season for 76 points. The Falcons are in fourth place of the Pacific Division and in sixth place of the National Conference with three games remaining in the regular season.

Tuesday, March 27 @ Stockton Thunder 5 FALCONS 2

Stockton recorded its first-ever regulation win over Fresno with a 5-2 win at Stockton Arena. The Falcons led 2-1 after one period on goals from P.O. Beaulieu and Cory Murphy. The Thunder forged ahead with a pair of goals in the opening 4:09 of the second period, then added two more in the third period to set the final.

Friday, March 30 vs. Bakersfield Condors 3 FALCONS 2

Jason Tejchma opened the scoring 5:55 into the second period, but Bakersfield pulled even on a Brett Lutes goal in the final minute of the period. The Condors took the lead on a Kevin Truelson power-play goal 2:06 into the third period, but Brady Leisenring tied it just 1:31 later. Truelson added his second of the night, a shorthanded tally at 14:12, to put Bakersfield ahead for good.

Saturday, March 31 vs. Phoenix RoadRunners 4 FALCONS 2

Fresno out-shot Phoenix 45-19, but fell short by a final score of 4-2. The RoadRunners jumped out to a 3-0 lead early in the second period, but the Falcons mounted a rally on goals by Brian McConnell and Jason Tejchma, cutting the Phoenix lead to 3-2 through 40 minutes. Lance Monych scored a power-play goal, his second of the night, at 15:54 of the third period to set the final.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Wednesday, April 4 @ Stockton 7:00 p.m.

The Falcons and Thunder meet for the eighth and final time this season. Fresno is 6-1-0 overall against Stockton this season, including 3-1-0 at Stockton Arena. The Thunder have won 10 straight games to move into third place of the Pacific Division with a record of 37-22-10 for 84 points.

Friday, April 6 vs. Long Beach 7:30 p.m.

Fresno and Long Beach meet for the ninth and final time this season. The Falcons are 5-0-3 against the Ice Dogs this season, and have a 1-0-2 mark against them at Save Mart Center. Long Beach enters the final week of the season in fifth place of the Pacific Division with a record of 25-40-3 for 53 points.

PROMOTIONS: The first 2,000 fans in attendance receive a Luke Curtin Bobblehead, courtesy of Eye-Q Vision Care. Two lucky fans will also win a trip for two to Cancun courtesy of Pro Travel Network.

Saturday, April 7 vs. Idaho 7:30 p.m.

The Falcons conclude the regular-season portion of the schedule against the Steelheads. Fresno is 2-4-0 against Idaho this season, with an 0-3-0 record at home. Idaho is in second place of the West Division with a record of 39-24-6 for 84 points.

PROMOTIONS: The first 1,500 fans in attendance receice a free beach towel courtesy of Eye-Q Vision Care. Eye-Q will also be giving away free lasik surgery to one fan in attendance. Two lucky fans will also win a trip to Cancun courtesy of Pro Travel Network. Following the game, the Falcons will auction off their shooter jerseys which have been worn during pre-game warm-ups throughout the season. All proceeds from the jersey auction benefit the Lion's Eye Bank.

FALCONS NOTES

- In their first 17 home games this season, the Falcons were 13-3-1, but have gone just 5-9-3 in their last 17 games on home ice.

- Fresno is scoreless on its last 18 power-play opportunities.

- Cory Murphy is tied for sixth among ECHL defensemen with 45 points.

- Fresno is tied with Gwinnett for the top penalty-kill unit on home ice at 87.0%.

The Matt Thomas Show airs tonight live 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Join Falcons head coach and general manager Matt Thomas and director of broadcasting and media relations Joe Babik as they discuss Falcons hockey. The show airs live on 1550 and 96.1 Sporting News Radio throughout the season. 2007 KELLY CUP PLAYOFF TICKETS

Fans have until 5:00 p.m. today to purchase playoff ticket packages. Fans can purchase a book of 12 playoff tickets starting at $192.
