
Everblades Agree to Terms with Defenseman Chase Golightly

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced Wednesday that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Chase Golightly.
Golightly, 24, joins the Everblades having recently concluded his four-year collegiate career at Robert Morris University (AHA). The 5-10, 180-pound blueliner recorded a career high 24 points (5g, 19a) in 39 games during his senior campaign with the Colonials. The Temecula, CA native totaled 60 career points during his four-seasons at Robert Morris from 2012-2016.
Golightly becomes the second Robert Morris standout to join the Everblades in as many days. On Tuesday, the 'Blades added forward Greg Gibson to an amateur tryout.
The Florida Everblades open up a two-game weekend set this Friday when they take on the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Friday's puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Full promotional details for this weekend's games listed below.

Saturday, March 26 vs. Greenville, 7:00 p.m. - Guns N' Hoses night. It's a hockey double-header as local police and fire fighters battle it out on the ice at 5:15 p.m. Then at 7:00 p.m. the Everblades will wear special Guns N' Hoses themed jerseys which will be auctioned off following the game. A ticket to the Everblades game gets you into the Guns N' Hoses game for free. Pregame tailgate party featuring live music, bounce houses and face painting begins at 5:00 p.m....Safeguard Shredding Services will also be bringing a truck on-site to Germain Arena. Fans can bring anything that needs to be shredded before the game and Safeguard Shredding Services will shred for FREE from 5:00-7:00 pm!
