Esks Sign Free Agent WR Akeem Foster

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announces the signing of free agent, non-import wide receiver Akeem Foster.
Foster was originally selected by the BC Lions in the fourth round (24th overall) of the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft. In 32 starts, the native of Ajax, ON, recorded 949 yards on 61 receptions and nine touchdowns before he was traded to Winnipeg in September 2013. As a member of the Blue Bombers, he recorded 35 yards on five receptions.
Foster joins DB Patrick Watkins, OL Andrew Jones and OL Justin Sorensen who also signed with the Green and Gold since free agency opened on Tuesday morning.
