Eskimos Sign Two Draft Picks

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos announce today they have signed the following players:

National wide receiver Tevaun Smith

National running back Alex Taylor

Smith was originally drafted by the Eskimos in the first round (eight overall) in the 2016 CFL Draft out of the University of Iowa. He spent the following three seasons with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts, Oakland Raiders, and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Taylor was originally drafted by the Eskimos in the sixth round (48th overall) in the 2018 CFL Draft out of Western. He returned to school for the 2018 season and helped guide his team to the Vanier Cup.
