
International DB Chris Edwards Inked to Lions D

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced that free agent defensive back Chris Edwards has signed a 2019 contract with the team.
Edwards (6'2", 220) saw action in 35 games over the past two seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos. The Detroit native has racked-up 70 total tackles and three interceptions including a pick-six.
"Chris is another very valuable pick-up for us on defence," said GM Ed Hervey. "Not only can he play multiple positions, he's brings the kind of physicality and size we want in the secondary."
