Tonight, the SeaWolves continue a seven-game homestand as they being a three-game series with the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) at Jerry Uht Park. Yesterday afternoon, the SeaWolves dropped the series finale with Bowie. After taking an early lead, the pitching staff could not hold up as they yielded seven runs en route to a 7-5 Erie loss. A win today would move the SeaWolves back to the .500 mark...Trenton come into play tonight two games under .500 in the Eastern Division. The Thunder beat Akron on Sunday afternoon 2-1...Erie sends right-hander James Avery to the mound making his second start of the season. Avery earned a win in his first start against Binghamton on April 10. In the game, the righty tossed five shutout innings, allowing three hits with three walks and three strikeouts...Trenton counters with left hander Shaeffer Hall, making his third start. Hall took a loss in his first start to New Hampshire but bounced back against Portland in his last. In the game, Hall allowed a run on four hits with no walks and three strikeouts in seven innings of work. Hall made three starts against the SeaWolves in 2011 posting a 1-1 record and 6.00 ERA...The SeaWolves have two games remaining on the homestand before hitting the road for seven-games in eight days with four in Bowie and three in Trenton..

- Trenton won the 2011 season series over Erie 5-4. The SeaWolves and Thunder meet 12 times in 2012.- Erie is 2-2 at home. The SeaWolves finished five games over .500 at home in 2011.- The SeaWolves roster features 18 players who have spent time at the Double-A level or higher. - The SeaWolves have committed four errors through the first nine games and have a .988 team fielding percentage. - Erie is 11th in the league with a 4.78 team ERA.
