Tonight, the Erie SeaWolves try to end their four game losing streak against the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) at Prince George's Stadium. Last night, Tyler Alexander worked 6.1 innings and gave up two runs on six hits while striking out four. The SeaWolves were limited to four hits on the night against the Baysox, and starter Brandon Barker gave up only three hits in eight shutout innings en route to his third win on the season. Kody Eaves's double was the sole extra-base hit on the night for the SeaWolves which extended his hit-streak to a season high seven games. Erie's lack of clutch hitting continued Tuesday, as the SeaWolves were 0-3 with runners in scoring position...RHP Artie Lewicki makes his 10th start on the mound tonight for Erie and his second against Bowie. Last time out, Lewicki worked six innings and allowed three runs, one of them earned, and struck out two in the eventual 4-3 win over Altoona on May 26th. In Lewicki's lone start against Bowie on May 2nd, the righty allowed nine hits and four earned runs while managing to fan four batters in a no-decision in the 6-5 loss to the Baysox...LHP John Means makes his first start against Erie this season. Means picked up the loss in his last start against Akron on May 26th after allowing four earned runs on seven hits in six innings.

- Tonight is the 8th of 18 meetings between the SeaWolves and the Baysox. Bowie leads the series 4-3.

-At 21-27, this is the watermark for most games under .500 on the season for the SeaWolves.

- Erie is hitting .260 as a team which is third in the league.

- The SeaWolves have hit 46 home runs which is second-most in the league.

- Christin Stewart is second in the league with 13 home runs. Nine of his home runs have come at home and he has hit seven against Trenton. Stewart is also tied for second in the league lead with 37 RBI and leads the league with 30 walks. He is third in the league with a .570 slugging percentage.

- SeaWolves pitchers have walked just 131 batters this season which is tied with Binghamton for the lowest total in the EL.

- The SeaWolves are eighth in the league with a 4.20 team ERA.

-Erie is tied for fourth in the league with two other pitching staffs for most strikeouts on the season with 361. Both Altoona and Portland have that same total.

- Mike Gerber is second in the league with 31 runs scored. He is also third in the league with 190 at-bats.

-Gabriel Quintana was recently named the Eastern League Player of the Week. Him and Mike Gerber are the only SeaWolves to recieve that honor in 2017.

- Bowie is first in the league with a .285 team batting average. The Baysox are tenth in the league with a 4.32 ERA.

- The SeaWolves are 10-16 against the Western Division and 11-12 on the road.

- Bowie has now won four games in a row which is their longest winning streak of the season.
