Reading, PA - The Portland Sea Dogs (23-25) dropped a doubleheader to the Reading Fightin Phils (26-23) on Wednesday night at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Fightins took the opener 6-2 and won the nightcap with a 4-3, 13-inning walk-off win.

Trey Ball (1-5) yielded a career-high four homers, as Reading took the opener 6-2. Tyler Viza (3-3) worked six strong innings on five hits and two runs, earning his first win this season against Portland.
Jeremy Barfield put the Sea Dogs on the board with a solo-homer to lead-off the second. The homer was the second for Barfield since joining Portland on May 26th. Reading responded in there half of the second against Ball. Kyle Martin hit a two-run homer and Malquin Canelo produced an RBI double.
The homers continued in the fourth inning. Jiandido Tromp led off with a homer and Mitch Walding hit a solo-shot with two outs.
Portland cut the deficit to 5-2 in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly by Josh Tobias, but Tromp gave Reading that run back, hitting a solo-homer in the sixth.

Andrew Pullin hit a lead-off, walk-off homer in the 13 th inning, lifting the Reading Fightin Phils to a 4-3 win. The homer came off position-player Jeremy Barfield. Barfield worked three innings on two hits, one run, no walks and three strikeouts.
Joey De Nato (4-1) worked a scoreless top of the 13th inning to earn the win.
Portland got off to a great start, scoring twice off John Richy in the first. Danny Mars and Joseph Monge set the table with singles and Rafael Devers nailed a two-run triple.
Reading got back in the game, courtesy of Angelo Mora. In the fourth, Mora knocked out Taylor Grover with a run-scoring single. In the sixth with two outs, he tied the game with a solo-homer off Ty Buttrey.
Mike Olt gave the Sea Dogs a 3-2 lead in the seventh inning with a solo-homer off Yacksel Rios. The homer was the second in the series and his seventh of the year. Reading tied the game in their half of the seventh on a run-scoring double by Osmel Aguila.
