Tonight, the SeaWolves look for a series split as they take on the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) in the final game of a four-game series at The Diamond. Yesterday, the Squirrels got out to a 5-0 lead and went on to beat the 'Wolves 6-3, sending Erie to its second straight loss. The loss dropped the SeaWolves into last place in the Western Division, still only two games out of first place...The Flying Squirrels boast the leagues top pitching staff with a 2.80 team ERA. Richmond has allowed 157 runs (131 ER) which is the second-fewest amount of runs in the league...Lefty Jay Voss takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his first appearance since being called up from Lakeland. Voss appeared in eight games with the Flying Tigers, starting six. He picked up a win in his most recent start against Jupiter on May 20. In the game, Voss allowed a run on four hits with a walk and a season-high seven strikeouts in a season-best seven innings of work. All 44 of Voss appearances in 2010 came in relief (33 with the SeaWolves)...RHP Daryl Maday takes the mound for the Flying Squirrels making his eighth start. Maday took a loss in his last start at Reading on May 21. In the game, he allowed four runs on six hits with a walk and a strikeout in six innings. Maday made two appearances, one start, against the SeaWolves in 2010 and was 0-1 with a 4.26 ERA...The SeaWolves are 3-3 on the current road trip. A win tonight would give the 'Wolves their first winning road trip of the season...The SeaWolves return home on Friday beginning a four-game series with the Reading Phillies. It will be the R-Phils second trip to Erie and the third series between the two clubs.

Cron has traveled back to Arizona to attend his youngest son Kevin's high school graduation.
