The SeaWolves begin their second-to-last road trip of the season tonight as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the opener of a three-game series at Metro Bank Park. The 'Wolves have won nine of their last 10 games and are the hottest team in the Eastern League heading into play on Tuesday. The club is 12-4 since July 29 and has won five consecutive series. This is Erie's lone trip into Harrisburg this season. The two clubs split a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park in late May. The Senators come into play on Tuesday one game behind wild card leading Bowie. The Sens are 6-4 in their last 10 games...Righty Anthony Shawler takes the mound for the 'Wolves making his 24th appearance and ninth start. He took a no-decision in his last start against New Britain allowing six runs on 11 hits in 5.1 innings of work. Shawler is 2-2 with a 5.36 ERA as a starting pitcher. Tonight will be his seventh consecutive appearance as a starter...RHP Brad Peacock takes the mound for the Senators. Peacock is making his third start with Harrisburg. He took a loss in his last start against Binghamton on August 10 allowing seven runs on eight hits with three walks and two strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work...Erie has struggled at Metro Bank Park the last three seasons. The club is 12-23 in Harrisburg since 2007.
