Tonight, the SeaWolves look for consecutive wins as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the second game of a four-game series at Metro Bank Park. Last night, the SeaWolves trailed 3-2 after five innings and went on to score one in the sixth and three in the seventh, taking down the Senators 6-3 in the series opener...The SeaWolves are 9-3 in their last 12 road games. Today, righty Chad Green makes his 17th start of the season and first against the Senators. Green has been a victim of a lack of run support throughout the season. In 12 of his 16 starts this season, the SeaWolves have scored three runs or fewer. Green was a tough luck loser in his last start at Bowie on July 4. In the game, he allowed two runs on three hits with three walks while equaling a season-high with seven strikeouts. Erie lost the game 2-1... Lefty Richard Bleier takes the mound for the Senators making his 14th appearance, 13th start and first appearance against Erie. Bleier took a loss in his last start against Altoona on July 5. In the game, he allowed three runs on 10 hits with a walk and a strikeout in six innings of work.
