LAST GAME: The B-Mets pounded out a season-high 18 hits in their 7-3 win over Portland Friday night at Hadlock Field. Six different B-Mets had multiple hits, including Gavin Cecchini, who went 4-for-5 to extend his hitting streak to 11 games. Binghamton scored four runs in the second inning to jump out in front, giving John Gant his third win of the season and first since May 15th. Xorge Carrillo and Michael Conforto each drove in multiple runs.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Robert Gsellman is making his eighth start with Binghamton and second consecutive against Portland. He took the loss last time out, allowing a season-high nine hits and five runs over six innings. The righty has earned a decision is all seven starts with Binghamton and has allowed a home run in back-to-back games. He has a 6.35 ERA in three road starts.

PORTLAND STARTER: RHP Luis Diaz is making his 17th start and third against the B-Mets this season. Diaz faced the B-Mets at NYSEG Stadium in his last outing, allowing two runs in six innings to earn his first win in over a year. Diaz has allowed three runs or less in his last four starts. His first outing against Binghamton was cut short after two innings, due to rain. The B-Mets are hitting .324 against Diaz in eight innings this season.

REMATCH: These two starting pitchers squared off five days ago in Portland's 5-4 win at NYSEG Stadium Monday night. Luis Diaz picked up his first win in more than a year, snapping the Sea Dogs 10 series losing streak. The B-Mets left the tying run on base in each of the final three frames. Dustin Lawley homered off of Diaz in the loss.

HADLOCK LOCKDOWN: Binghamton has won nine consecutive games at Hadlock Field, dating back to last postseason. The B-Mets have outscored Portland 68-26 in the nine games, holding the Sea Dogs to one run in four of seven contests this season. Portland won six of 10 at NYSEG Stadium, having their last two series wins come there. The only time Binghamton has gone undefeated in a road stadium for a season was 2010, when they were 6-0 in Akron. It's the second time Binghamton has won seven game at Hadlock Field in a single season (7-4, 2006). The B-Mets were 94-101 all-time at Hadlock Field before the current winning streak.

STARTING OFF RIGHT: Gavin Cecchini extended his hitting streak to 11 games Thursday with his second four-game of the year. He's batting .400 (20-for-50) during the streak with five multiple-hit games. It's Cecchini's second 11-game hitting streak of the season. He's 13-for-23 over the last five games, with multiple hits in four.

MOST W'S: Friday's win was Binghamton's 218th against Portland all-time. It's the most wins for Binghamton against a single team, passing New Britain (217). It also gave the B-Mets the 2015 season series against Portland (11-6)

NEW ERA: The B-Mets have a 2.25 ERA in their first 10 games of July, going 5-5. It's the second best team ERA in the EL for the month, only behind Richmond (1.84).

STRONG LIKE A BULL(PEN): The B-Mets bullpen has not allowed a run in five games, tossing 12 scoreless innings. The 'pen has allowed five baserunners, while striking out seven. A Binghamton reliever has allowed a run in just one of the B-Mets last nine games.

MIDDLE OF LINEUP: Brock Peterson is batting .140 with 15 strikeouts in his last 11 games. He's 1-for-his last 22.

ERROR: The B-Mets have committed an error in four straight games for the seventh time this season.
