----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look for a series win as they take on the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) in the rubber game of a three-game series at Metro Bank Park. Last night, Erie and Harrisburg split a doubleheader with the 'Wolves falling in game one 8-7, and slugging their way to an 8-2 win in game two. The SeaWolves enter play today 3.5 behind second place Harrisburg in the Western Division. Erie has dropped nine of its last 14 games and enter the game today three games under .500...Tonight, James Avery takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 13th start of the season and first against Harrisburg. Avery earned a win in his last start against New Britain on June 8. In the game, he allowed three runs on four hits with five walks and two strikeouts in five innings of work. The SeaWolves won the game 9-7 and the win snapped a string of four consecutive starts for Avery without a win...The Senators send RHP Kevin Pucetas to the mound making his 17th appearance and third start. Pucetas has allowed just one ER in his last eight appearances and has allowed just six ER in 43.0 IP this season. He shut out Reading for seven innings in his last start on June 8. He allowed three hits with no walks and five strikeouts . Pucetas has also allowed just five walks and 43.0 IP this season...The SeaWolves will travel to New Britain following tonight's game for their lone trip into the Hardware City in 2012. The team has an off-day on Monday before returning to play Tuesday night against Bowie.
