Tonight, the SeaWolves head on the road for a four-game series in three days with the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) at NYSEG Stadium beginning with a doubleheader tonight. Yesterday, the SeaWolves dropped the series finale with Reading and split a four-game series with the R-Phils. Erie has alternated losses and wins in their last five games and are currently in a fifth place tie in the Western Division, six games behind first place Harrisburg who has won eight straight...The Mets enter play today in fifth place in the Eastern Division and are 17.5 games out of first. The Mets are 2-8 in their last 10 and come into the game with the lowest ranked offense in the EL (.227 team batting average and the fewest runs scored at 166)...The 'Wolves send lefty Jay Voss to the mound in game one and righty Jared Gayhart to the mound in the second game. Voss took a loss in his first start at Richmond on May 26. In the game, he allowed four runs, three earned, on five hits with two walks and six strikeouts. Through his first six IP, the lefty allowed an unearned run. The other three runs came in the bottom of the seventh. Erie lost the game 6-1...Gayhart makes his first start of the season and is looking for a strong finish to a rough month, In five relief appearances in May, Gayhart was 1-0 with a 9.39 ERA. He allowed eight runs on 11 hits in 7.2 innings of work. His last appearance came at Richmond of May 23. In the game, he allowed two runs on two hits in two innings of work...Mets game one starter Robert Carson makes his second start against Erie. He took a no-decision on May 4 against the 'Wolves allowing two runs on five hits in six innings of work.
