----- Today, the SeaWolves look for their second straight series sweep and to extend their longest winning streak of the season against the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the final game of a three-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the SeaWolves once again trailed 3-1 heading into the sixth inning and came from behind to take down the Aeros 4-3. Kyle Lobstein tossed Erie's first complete game of the season...Erie's seven game winning streak is the longest since the club won seven straight July 29-August 5, 2011...Erie's last eight-game winning streak was August 5-13, 2010...Today, righty Patrick Cooper takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his sixth start and first against the Aeros. Cooper earned his first win of the season in his last start against Altoona on May 3. In the game, he allowed two runs on three hits with three walks and a season-high six strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie won the game 6-3...Lefty Matt Packer takes the mound for the Aeros making his seventh start. Packer has lost his last three starts. In his last outing against Bowie on May 3, Packer allowed four runs on seven hits with two walks and a season-high eight strikeouts in five innings of work. Opponents are hitting .344 against Packer who has allowed three or more runs in five of his six starts.
