Squirrels and Baysox Postponed on Wednesday

RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels and the Bowie Baysox were rained out for the second consecutive evening as persistent rain forced the postponement of Wednesday night's scheduled game at The Diamond. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday, July 19th. The doubleheader, consisting of two seven-inning ballgames, will begin at 5:35 p.m.
Fans holding tickets for Wednesday night's postponed ballgame may redeem them for tickets to any remaining 2013 Flying Squirrels home game - contingent on availability.
The Squirrels will travel to Altoona, PA, on Thursday to open a four-game series with the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) at Peoples Natural Gas Field. First pitch of the series opener is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. as Richmond LHP Ryan Bradley (0-3, 7.08) will make the start against Altoona RHP Stolmy Pimentel (2-0, 0.74). Pregame coverage begins on Sports Radio 910, SportsRadio910.com and IHeart Radio at 6 p.m.
