ENTERING TODAY'S ACTION...
Today, the SeaWolves look to make it three straight wins as they take the field in the final game of a four-game series against the Akron Aeors (Cleveland Indians) at Canal Park. The âWolves have won two straight for the first time since winning four in a row April 25-29. The âWolves have allowed just two runs over the last two games. The Aeros enter today's game at the .500 mark at 23-23. Erie will look to hand Akron its second three-game losing streak of the season. The last time the Aeros lost three straight was May 2-4 against Bowie...RHP Matt Righter takes the mound for the âWolves making his 10 appearance of the season and his second start. He picked up a win in his first start of the season in his last outing against Bowie. In five innings, Righter allowed a run on two hits with no strikeouts and two walks as the âWolves took down Bowie 9-2. Righter has allowed just one earned run over his last five appearances...Leftie David Huff takes the mound for the Aeros. Huff has been the Aeros most consistent starter this season with a 4-1 record. He has three straight games including his last start against Altoona on May 21. In the game, Huff went seven innings, allowing a run on four hits with no walks and six strikeouts. Huff has worked seven innings in each of his last three starts and has allowed just one walk over that period.
