
Eric Oliver returns to Rancho Cucamonga

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announce that OF Eric Oliver has been promoted to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Abe Flores, Director of Player Development for the LA Angels, announced the move on Sunday.
Oliver was a member of the Kernels' 2010 Opening Day Roster and played in 47 games, hitting .245 with three HR and 23 RBI.
With today's transaction, the Kernels roster is at 24 players, one short of the MWL maximum of 25, with two players currently on the disabled list.
The Kernels continue a seven game home stand today against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on 104.5 KDAT Sunday Family Day. Gates open at 1 pm with first pitch set for 2:05 pm. Tickets may be purchased on-line at www.kernels.com, or by calling the Kernels Ticket Office at 896-7560. Ticket office hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
